Ethereum is too slow -> the internet is too slow

Ethereum is too expensive -> cell phones are too expensive

Ethereum is too confusing -> surfing the web is too confusing

Most of these critiques can be addressed by reframing and providing context.

No technology ever innovates quickly enough for critics or consumers. It is no different for Ethereum. It came out the biggest winner of the bull market so it has the most eyes on it to continue to lead the way.

There is also terrible a narrative that if any other L1 exists, or does well, it means Ethereum is losing. This is false. Adoption for crypto, minus SBF and FTX scammer types, is a net win for the entire space.

In order to gain 100s of million of crypto users there will be no single L1, or network, that wins 100% market share.

We’ll most likely see a fractured ecosystem like in mobile phones, laptops, or internet providers. There will be different “flavors” of crypto for different consumer sets.
