Hi, and welcome to issue 11 of NFT Matrix, where I review NFT Artists’ work. There is no presumption or judgement here, only exposure. The artist I am reviewing is Mehak Jain from India. Colorful and brooding is how I would characterize their work. I look at a couple of the artist’s pieces from their various platforms/social media and provide my review. Hope you enjoy, I’m always open to feedback.
Piece: “Fragrance”

Link: Rarible
This piece is lovely and relaxing like a sweet flower should be. Not much more to say - I also love how it moves and shows the effect of the scent through color distortion.

Piece: “Prison of Choice”
Link: Rarible
Choices are opportunities, but can also be a point of contention if you have a hard time making decisions. I’ve found myself in this conundrum many times. I love the imagery reminiscent of monsters, particles, tentacles, and stairs to nowhere. When haunted by stress, this is how it can feel.

Piece: “Enemy”
Link: Async Art
This piece is created from multiple layers of art. You can explore each layer on the Async Art website. The imagery and colors remind me of a king’s court with strange and surreal malicious actors and watchers. I love the Dali-like feel. The color palette is somewhat ominous and comforting. The scene feels like a cinematic dream where you’re not sure what the ending will be. So interesting. Would love to see a music video with this iconography.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this brief introduction to Mehak Jain! Find their links below:
