I want to try something.
Everyone talks about creating a Pseudonymous society, where people can have their invented identities, and interact without giving up any actual information about themselves.
This can work, of course. People like @punk6529 have been able to have a completely separate digital and physical life (metaverse and… meatspace? Is that the term?), but how realistic is it for us normies?
One example is buying and selling cryptocurrencies. At some point you have to hand over your information to someone in order to buy crypto with fiat. Is there another way to live completely pseudonymously in this new World?
I’m going to try. Here’s what I’ve done so far:
I created a Gmail address without any personal identifying information
I created a Twitter account without any personal identifying information.
Tried some challenges in Layer3.xyz to earn some money.
Minted an NFT on OpenSea
Next steps:
Try to join a DAO
Start swapping newly earned coins
Get a collection of NFT’s going
Want to follow along? I’ll be writing here. My wallet is here.
Want to start me off? You can throw some coin my way.
Maybe I’ll get doxxed.
Maybe this won’t last.
But we’ll try and see how far this rabbit hole goes.
