We were on our way to the Fully Charged Show but knew about a vintage car show that was taking place in Farnborough, so we parked out MG5 at my wife's office to put it on charge whilst at the show, which was fantastic, I'll do a separate post on it or maybe more.
The first image that is available for minting is the Police car, if any of you readers are like myself Brits, you will remember the TV show Heartbeat that was set in Yorkshire, a lighthearted Sunday evening Police drama. Well this car was identical to the cars they used in that show.
The light was strong, which led me to think, how about some close-ups, abstracts, that'll work, might help beat the contrast challenges that I was facing. Mind you seeing the sun after a very dull period of weather, was an absolute delight, just so bright.
The next picture was taken of the same vehicle, different angle and the image I captured looked quite different as it came off the SD card and some editing in Lightroom was needed to create something arty. I was delighted with how it came out.
I just couldn't resist a little bit of a Clarkson-ism there but the car was beautiful, I continued my focus on detail rather than the whole. The Ricoh GR3x is fantastic for these shots. I edited the image afterwards to give it a black and white look but there is still just a little red in the logo.
The aquas make for an interesting palette.
They do don’t they!
