On January 16, the third high-speed brigade of Qiannan Public Security Traffic Management Bureau received the alarm from the toll station of Pingtang super bridge of yuce expressway: a car was retrograde on the ramp of the toll station. After receiving the alarm, the police immediately launched an investigation and determined that the license plate of the retrograde vehicle was a Zhejiang car through video monitoring and investigation. The police then informed the driver to confirm and deal with it on the team.

In the face of the police’s inquiry, the driver Wang admitted that he was from Guangxi and went to Pingtang’s mother-in-law’s house with his wife and children for the Spring Festival. On that day, when he was driving through the Pingtang super bridge section of yuce expressway, he wanted to enter the sky bridge service area for viewing. Because he came to the sky bridge service area for the first time, he didn’t know that the viewing platform in the service area needed to drive out of the toll station, When I got to the toll station of date bridge, I thought I had taken the wrong way and was unwilling to drive out of the toll station for convenience, so I turned back on the ramp of the toll station and went back to the main road of the expressway.

According to the relevant provisions of the road traffic safety law of the people’s Republic of China, the illegal act of driving a motor vehicle retrograde on the expressway will face a penalty of 12 points and a fine of 200 yuan.
