The first week in EIF3.0

I expressed my excitement and nervousness at the beginning of my journey at the Ethereum India Fellowship 3.0. I felt incredibly honored to be selected out of over 6000+ applicants and was eager to start this new chapter.

Then, I attended an electric kick-off session at the Ethereum India Fellowship 3.0, setting the stage for what was to come. During this session, the program leaders introduced the fellowship structure and guidelines, and I felt optimistic about the upcoming weeks. The program leaders stressed the significance of collaboration, growth, and the impact we can have on the Ethereum ecosystem. Their passion and knowledge were evident, and it was apparent that they were dedicated to our success.

During the initial week of the Ethereum India Fellowship 3.0, we attended numerous sessions as part of the EthForAll hackathon. These sessions presented us with an excellent chance to collaborate with other fellows and work on thrilling projects. Despite the difficulty, I enjoyed the sessions and found them to be a significant learning experience that aided in my personal growth. I was astounded by how much I was able to achieve within a brief period and looked forward to exploring what the program had in store for me in the future.

One of the most remarkable moments of the week was when we received two EthereumSpeedRrun challenges: a basic NFT example and a decentralized staking app. These challenges gave us the chance to utilize our knowledge and demonstrate our abilities. Initially, I was apprehensive about creating a decentralized application from the ground up, but I was excited to accept the challenge.

The week I started with Challenge 0 #Simple NFT Challenge. We used Hardhat to compile and deploy the smart contracts. Then, we used a template React app full of important Ethereum components and hooks. I also got acquainted with the use, implementation, and market of NFTs.
