Announcing the Creation of the Nodle DAO: A New Era of Inclusive Decentralized Governance
The Nodle Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the Nodle DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), marking a major step toward decentralizing the Nodle Network and placing its future directly in the hands of its community. The creation of the Nodle DAO introduces a structured framework of Nodle Governance Proposals (NGPs), that anyone with a smartphone can vote on. These proposals will allow the community to have a say in the network’s development, ensuring that its direction re...

Why decentralized messaging matters more than everIn today’s ever-shifting digital terrain, the struggle for uncensored, verifiable communication is at the heart of personal sovereignty. Nodle has been working on XMTP integration into their apps for months. In June, we released the public beta on iOS, allowing users to connect privately and without a middleman. This experience is now live on Android, enabling our global user base to benefit from private and encrypted chat. This launch of Nodl...

What’s happening?
Crypto should be easy, and with the latest update in the Nodle App, fast and low cost transactions are now accessible for all. Starting this week, the Nodle App has launched support for a universe of tokens within its wallet. By default, ZKsync, USDC, ETH, and NODL are activated in the app, with nearly all tokens on ZKsync being supported to send and receive payments. Powered by Nodle Network and ZKsync, the Nodle app is making it easy for anyone to earn, pay and send crypto.
How it works
Amidst fierce competition, ZKsync is quickly becoming the fastest, lowest cost, and most secure Layer 2 on Ethereum. This means that anyone receiving tokens on the Nodle App can enjoy low fees and fast transactions unlike ETH mainnet.
Getting Tokens onto your Nodle Wallet is as simple as sending tokens (ERC-20 tokens on ZKsync) to your Nodle wallet address on ZKsync Era.
Important!
Currently Nodle only supports tokens on the ZKsync Layer 2. If you have ERC20 tokens on ETH mainnet, you’ll have to transfer them using a bridge to ZKsync.

Why Now?
We’ll say it again: Crypto should be easy. Not shrouded in complex onboarding, obtuse fees, and elliptic cryptographic wizardry. By supporting tokens on ZKsync, anyone can set up a wallet, send and receive payments in seconds. Amidst all of this, ZKsync has some of the lowest fees in the Ethereum ecosystem (generally around 2 cents).
Nodle chose ZKsync because it aligns with our values of decentralization, security, and high performance. By opening up the Nodle App to other tokens, we aim to make crypto easy and more accessible to the next generation of Web3 native.
FAQ
Can I send and receive tokens directly from my Nodle App?
Yes it works natively as long as the tokens are on the ZKsync Layer 2 on Ethereum,
How do I get tokens onto ZKsync?
NODL is natively on ZKsync. If you have ETH or other tokens on Ethereum, you can use a bridge to send tokens from ETH (or other L2s) to ZKsync.
Can I use an ENS domain to send tokens to someone from the Nodle App?
Yes! ENS is fully implemented in the Nodle app for addresses on ZKsync. Note that other apps may not yet index ENS on ZKsync.
What shall I do if I don't see one of my tokens from my wallet on ZKsync on the app?
Nodle has worked to index nearly all tokens on ZKsync. First check the ZKsync explorer to see if the transactions show up. It’s a common mistake to send tokens to your Nodle address, but on a different chain (for example ETH mainnet, or Polygon)
Does WalletConnect work?
Not fully. Nodle uses WalletConnect to link the app to the web app for Nodle Client and Clic, but does not yet support other apps. Stay tuned for updates on WalletConnect in Nodle.
