We have made some core updates to align with our mission of onboarding people working across the sxtech industry. Let’s jump in.

One of the biggest barriers to crypto is people having to setup new wallets. Understanding seed phrases etc can be a big deterrent in creating an account on NSFW+. Thanks to recent innovations we can now abstract some of that complexity away.

We have revamped our login to make it easy for new users to get started on our platform. Any user may now choose to login using either:

• A mobile number

• An ethereum wallet (eg. Metamask, Rainbow)

Regardless of your preferred login method our universal login system will still allow you to transact in your preferred token or network.

How do we achieve this? Account abstraction.

Users who signed up with a mobile number will soon be able to issue their own self custody wallets where we can further guide them through this setup process. This is also known as an embedded wallet.

An important point to understand here is that “we” (the platform) will NEVER have access the underlying private keys generated, which means we do not compromise on security while being able to deliver a streamlined onboarding process for new users.

If a user chooses to generated an embedded wallet with NSFW+, they can still export the underlying keys and put them into another wallet such as Rainbow.

Wallet users can still use a browser extension or supported Wallet Connect account to login. — Cool!

So What does this mean for our ~17k+ existing accounts? We have done the hard work so it just works and you don’t need to do anything.

Housekeeping: Login with email is no longer supported.

If you are an existing NSFW+ creator you can use the mobile number that was previously provided during your creator onboarding, to access your account.

Part of our vision to add more creator types means we need to collect different information based on our compliance requirements.

Any user can now upgrade their account from their profile page to become a creator.

Please note once you start, you will need to complete the process and most importantly please be mindful of our website terms.

We spent some time updating our feeds to make them more compatible for facilitating conversations inline with our longer term roadmap. To really bring them to life, we added the new https://nsfw.app/discover tab, which cycles content our creators have uploaded over the years.

We have ~2500 registered creators on our platform. Starting today we will be reaching out to existing creators explaining the change from previous management and providing a more personalised onboarding experience.

We now support Base which is a popular L2 for Ethereum. We are currently exploring how best make withdrawals even easier so that Creators can withdraw their earnings to fiat even more quickly.

• Documented our operating wallets.

• Che spoke on a panel a SxTech Nordics event in Copenhagen

• Arnold has been invited to run a workshop on DAOs and how crypto can be utilised for SxTech businesses at Sex Tech School.

We will continue to refine the product where it comes to onboarding and payments. However our efforts will now be directing at promoting the DAO and securing additional runway.
