Oases is a decentralized NFT marketplace based on Ethereum. In order to actively participate in testing the platform, you'll need a crypto wallet and ETH token to navigate around.

If you lack knowledge about how to set up a crypto wallet or claim ETH tokens, don't worry, we'll explain thoroughly in the following paragraphs. If you already have a Metamask or TokenPocket crypto wallet, please, directly go to Step Two: Claim Test Tokens.

A crypto wallet is an account where you store and use your cryptocurrencies. You will need a crypto wallet to purchase and store NFTs and even claim test ETH tokens. MetaMask is one of the most popular wallets among other options.

METAMASK:

To get MetaMask, open its official website https://metamask.io/ with a supported browser and install the MetaMask extension. Supported browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Edge. You will need to install one of the browsers above to be able to install the MetaMask extension. If you don’t have one of the listed browsers, please choose one to download.

1.2.3 Setup a Wallet

• If you are completely new to MetaMask, go ahead and create a wallet.

• Click I Agree to Continue

• Create a password for your MetaMask wallet

• Watch security guidance and click Next

• Click to reveal secret words and store the secret recovery phrase in a safe place

• You have successfully set up a MetaMask crypto wallet! Click “All Done” to continue

• View and write down your wallet address, you'll need it for the second step to claim the test token

TOKEN POCKET

Oases also supports the TOKEN POCKET crypto wallet. Follow similar setup steps and acquire a wallet address.
