OGMS (Open Global Monetary System) is an open, constitutionally governed monetary protocol designed to provide a neutral, censorship-resistant, and transparently governed global monetary infrastructure.
OGMS is built on three core principles:
Immutable Core
Governance-Minimized Architecture
Transparent Treasury Operations
Most existing stablecoins and monetary protocols suffer from governance overreach and lack of credible neutrality. The power to arbitrarily mint or redeem units, change core logic, or manipulate treasury assets ultimately undermines the trust required for a truly global monetary system.
OGMS is different.
Inspired by the best practices of protocols such as RAI, LUSD, and the original Bitcoin philosophy, OGMS adopts:
An immutable Treasury Executor that cannot be altered by governance vote.
Strictly bounded governance powers limited to adjusting monetary parameters within predefined ranges.
An elected Protocol Council with a limited mandate and subject to DAO veto.
Full transparency of treasury operations through on-chain reporting.
The OGMS architecture consists of four primary components:
Treasury ExecutorExecutes periodic DCA asset purchases, triggers rebalancing, and enforces collateralization ratio under immutable logic.
Smart VaultsCustody contracts for BTC, ETH, Stablecoins, and Commodities, accessible only via the Treasury Executor.
Transparency InterfaceEmits on-chain reports and transparency data, enabling public monitoring of treasury operations.
Governance FrameworkManages bounded monetary parameters and oversees the limited powers of the Protocol Council.
Full details of the architecture and governance philosophy are documented in the OGMS whitepaper.
OGMS Foundation is an open, community-driven initiative focused on building a constitutionally governed global monetary system with an immutable core and transparent governance.
The project is released under a Satoshi-style approach: open specs, open architecture, and community-driven implementation.
The initial repository is available here:
We invite developers, researchers, and community members to contribute to the OGMS Protocol.
There is no premine, no token sale, and no centralized entity controlling the protocol. OGMS aims to become a neutral monetary infrastructure for the world — and for this, it needs the collaboration of an open and diverse community.
Join us in building the future of money.
