0. Introduction

Hi! My name is Old Ephraim. I’m a b̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶l̶i̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶l̶o̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶I̶d̶a̶h̶o̶-̶U̶t̶a̶h̶ ̶b̶o̶r̶d̶e̶r̶ law student in Missouri who’s interested in learning to code, and potentially in becoming a software developer rather than proceeding with my current career path. On the first version of this blog I completed FreeCodeCamp’s Algorithms and Data Structures certification, learning to code in JavaScript, and then completed the first six chapters of CryptoZombies’ Solidity tutorial. Since then, I’ve mostly been playing around with Python and learning web scraping with Selenium, though I haven’t blogged about this.

Now that I’ve finally gotten myself a MetaMask wallet, this blog is going to pivot to focusing on my attempts to learn about Web3 and blockchain development (…which is why it’s being written on Mirror). The first post after this will likely be a recapitulation of the CryptoZombies Solidity course, which I completed in July and is therefore a bit rusty, after which I’ll begin acquiring skills on Rabbithole to qualify for quests and otherwise exploring the Web3 space. Starting in January when I expect to have time to code daily, I’ll try to build a portfolio using the skills that I’ve learned in Web3.

Follow along on my educational journey!
