Besides enriching our lives by uniting us across the humanity and nourishing our inner world with purpose; arts and culture has an huge impact on society, education, health, well-being and economy. And we, as Omnea, believe that expanding the horizon of arts and culture is crucial for a pluralist, progressive and harmonious society.

In the last decade, open resources to learn, more accessible tools to create, platforms to share in combination with the mobile connectedness and high speed internet have led to a creative economy boom generated by users. However, these rapid developments challenge artists, creators and arts and culture organizations to create before experiment, and present while trying to keep connected in a overwhelmingly fast world.

When the pandemic hit, we all took a long pause. This break revealed fragilities and unfair parts of the arts and culture industry alongside areas to expand and missed opportunities for all actors. But jumping on the digital hype train involuntarily have brought more challenges in terms of design, communication as well as human and production resources. For the last two years, we work towards defining the problem while building and experimenting on many levels.

Omnea is collective efforts of designers, builders and thinkers coming from diverse backgrounds including digital experience design, new media art, academic research, exhibition design, contemporary museology and event design in order to exploring novel ways of exhibiting and performing while getting socialized in interactive virtual and physical environments backed by a value-based financial incentives.

We believe that Omnea will fill an enormous gap by offering intuitive and easy to use tools and frameworks that helps to lower the barriers to a metaverse future and onboard not just artists, creators and institutions but also welcome all art and culture lovers.

Omnea priorities meaningful relationships, inclusivity and diversity rather than building an economy prone to speculation. To ensure a fair distribution of power and wealth, Omnea will leverage new generation DeFi and NFTs mechanics.
