Gm! Let’s start the week with a quick recap of everything that went down in Web3 last week.

• Uniswap has launched NFT transactions and integrated 7 NFT trading markets such as X2Y2, OpenSea, and LooksRare. It will also airdrop $ 5 million USDC to Genie historical users, and return Gas fees to the first 22,000 users of the platform.

• Magic Eden launched Open Creator Protocol — an open-source, free, and feature-rich tool for creators to protect royalties on new collections.

• An update on Chainlink staking — As mentioned, v0.1 of staking is going live Dec 6. Stakers will be locking their funds til the planned launch of v0.2 (in 9-12 months) when the funds can be unlocked or migrated.

• BlockFi filed voluntary cases under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

• Apple blocks Coinbase Wallet app release, requesting 30% of all NFT transfer gas fees.

• A proposal was published to Aave’s governance forum advocating for freezing 17 V2 pools in the interests of caution due to their thin liquidity and the volatility of the underlying assets. On Nov 27, the changes were executed.

• ACX — token by Across is live on L1 and can be claimed by eligible wallets.

• Ledger announced the upcoming Ledger Quests — an educational initiative that will reward users with a proof-of-knowledge NFT when they successfully complete the 'Quest'.

• The proposal to deploy a Hop Bridge to the zkSync V2 network and establish Hop as a partner of the zkSync ecosystem has passed.

• DeFiLlama launched a trending contracts page. Use it to spot which contracts are getting the most usage and check their growth in gas spent, wallet interactions, or the number of txs.

• Maker governance rejected proposals including a $500m investment in corporate bonds, a $100m investment in $OUSD, and an increase on the surplus buffer upper limit to 1B DAI. Core Unit budget changes were also polled including reducing UX development budget and not renewing the immunifi security budget.

• Aztec Connect has launched a stable developer testnet.

• Pendle launches V2 on Ethereum, bringing a new AMM design and structural improvements in capital efficiency, LP risk, and fee accrual.

• Opensea adds BNB Chain support.

• The Compound community has voted to enforce loan limits on 10 crypto tokens in its version 2 protocol at the end of November — reducing the amount of the affected collateral that users can borrow.

• Onomy, a Cosmos-based protocol bridging Forex and DeFi, has launched mainnet with the token distribution planned for December 6. 

• ZkSync is integrating with RNS .ID to enable on-chain IDs and better data security. Crypto exchanges, such as Binance and Coinbase, already support IDs issued by RNS .ID.

• Dopex will be adding perp trading — option perpetual trading to its product line.

• Ribbon Finance launched its new product Ribbon Earn stETH which offers principal-protected yield, using a combination of ETH staking yield + options.

• BitDAO introduced Mantle — a modular Ethereum L2 network promising to bring robust decentralized data layers with high security using re-staking mechanisms.

• Trader Joe, the popular Avalanche-based DEX is expanding to Arbitrum.

• Fidelity has officially opened retail Bitcoin and crypto trading accounts.

• Huobi will launch the world's first national token DMC (Dominica Coin) in partnership with Tron under the authorization of the government. Huobi will provide Dominica DID status to every registered user.

• As per Telegram’s CEO, Telegram plans to build a non-custodial wallet and decentralized exchange.

• Italy will impose a crypto gains tax at 26% starting in 2023 on profits larger than €2k.

• Russia’s largest bank, SBER, announced that its blockchain platform will be compatible with Ethereum and has also integrated MetaMask.

• With the collapse of Alameda, the Solana core DEX Serum became defunct since the upgrade authority is held. By FTX. A community-wide effort to fork Serum is ongoing.

• Amazon is creating an eight-episode TV series based on SBF and the collapse of FTX.

• FTX attacker transferred some of the stolen funds to OKX after using ChipMixer. At least $4.1m (255 BTC) has been sent to OKX — since then, the account has been been frozen by OKX.

• Gas spent to settle L2 activity has reached an ATH. For the first time, L2 systems consumed more than 100b gas in a month to validate transactions and operate their bridges on L1.

• SBF speaks at NYT’s Dealbook event.
