Looking at the NFT market data alone may not bring much optimism. The market has not even recovered a fraction of the interest it had two years ago. Billion-dollar weekly NFT trading volumes may remain a thing of the past for a while. The market needs more time to once again seriously consider investing in NFTs.
Our permissionless Launchpad is a good place to observe the market sentiment, and we must admit that over the past few months, we have seen a returning interest in the NFT space, largely due to the buzz surrounding zkSync and its scalability and optimization capabilities for the Ethereum network - which still remains the undisputed king of NFTs. Of course, the interest is relatively small compared to what we experienced in 2022, but it may be a turning point and a breakthrough for the market.
In the last 30 days, over half of the TOP 100 collections on zkSync marketplaces (e.g. Kreatorland) were created with Omnisea! This is what we call bootstrapping the Ecosystem.
We implemented the zkSync Era network on the very first day of their Mainnet launch - from the beginning, our goal was to be the first and enable our users to create collections without permission and limitations.

zkRock is the first featured collection that was launched via Omnisea at the very beginning of the zkSync existence. 1001 unique tokens were successfully minted. It was a huge milestone for our Launchpad as it showed its capabilities and increased Collectors' trust. zkRock quickly became the biggest NFT collection of the zkSync Era reaching TOP1 position on the MintSquare volume ranking. Shortly after, the project delivered on its promise by transforming its community into DAO.

One of our major protocol iterations on zkSync Era was the introduction of ONFTs (now with V2, as you know, we're creating ONFTs on every supported chain). The first big collection that utilized this new Omnichain standard was Zkalien Genesis developed by the very well-known Bored Town. Collectors have minted 10,000 Zkaliens which later make their cross-chain debut on Polygon zkEVM and Optimism.

In May, one of the first fungible tokens Launchpad on zkSync, Dappad+, conducted a successful Governance NFT Drop becoming the largest, in terms of collected proceeds, the collection launched via Omnisea. Despite the big uptick in the gas price on L1, they managed to sell out all 1200 tokens. Just a few days ago, Dappad announced the commencement of their Testnet on July 30th and introduced new benefits for their governance NFT Collectors.
There are countless more successful collections recently launched using Omnisea. Since the beginning of the zkSync Era, our Creators have always made big moves on prominent marketplaces like MintSquare, zkMarkets, Kreatorland, or Element. We're always proud to see such success stories finding confirmation in secondary sales and especially, like with the abovementioned cases, in the continuous progress and delivered promises.
On a core level, we're satisfied that we've accomplished one of our main missions, so aligned with our values, which is giving you a truly Permissionless NFT Launchpad. Everyone is now able to easily create NFTs without permission and technical knowledge.
