OneLand 7-day data showed total land cap for the 10 projects down 0.82% to 705,896 ETH (or $1.341 billion, +9.5%).
The rise in USD terms was a simple reflection of the mass crypto rally that Blackrock’s filing of its Bitcoin ETF inspired, ETH up 10.4% (total crypto cap +11.95%). Metaverse tokens followed suit - $SAND +12.8%, $MANA +14.7%.
Decentraland enjoyed its highest weekly trading volume in nearly 2 months (+112%) on the back of 6 separate Estates changing hands.
Meanwhile, TOPIA experienced somewhat of a comedown, 7-day volume retreating 57.2%, following the excitement generated by the handout of $TOPIA for those who staked in the first 3 days of its new Worlds staking program.
However, its average price still rose 19% on the back of two super-priced sales of 9.0 and 8.8 ETH that dominated TOPIA’s trading skyline.
Over at BYOPills…and some traders got busy indeed Wednesday, which went on to record the project’s highest daily sales in 10 months, leading to an incredible weekly volume increase of 520%!
Up-and-coming MMORPG Treeverse had a similarly exciting week, sales soaring 440%.
The trading booms at both projects, however, led to no significant move in land caps.
