Wassup BaseDOGE nation. We live in very exciting yet complex times. The BaseDOGE distribution is done, and the Aerodrome whitelist is looking very promising - so promising in fact, they actually did it; but then realized Aerodrome contracts have the same issue with tax tokens that Velodrome had with Optidoge. So the people will need to wrap their BaseDOGEs to be able to access the Aerdrome gauge.

You may remember me from the extremely useful guide about wrapping Optidoge. Thousands* of Optidoge users have now wrapped their Optidoge and are happily enjoying LPing their optidogs, now the time has come to wrap your BaseDOGE.

Go to the BaseDOGE contract here. Then click Contract, then Write Contract, and connect your wallet so the little green dot appears just like before (I had to disable adblocker for this to function).

Now click ‘2. approve’ and we can start typing things into the blockchain.

In the ‘spender (address)’ field you need to put the wrapper contract in, you can verify this yourself by seeing the contract here or you could trust me bro and copy and paste this 0x373504DA48418C67E6FCD071F33Cb0b3B47613C7

in ‘amount (uint256)’ you are selecting how many BaseDOGEs you want to approve but it’s not in normal numbers it is in redacted blockchain numbers because that is just what the future of finance looks like.

To do this correctly, you can type in the amount you would like to approve, then click the little plus sign (+) and choose 1018. Some examples below so you can see just how dumb this process is

1m would be 1000000000000000000000000

10m would be 10000000000000000000000000

100m would be 100000000000000000000000000

1b would be 1000000000000000000000000000

Once that’s done, smash that ‘Write’ button and confirm in your wallet.

Ezpz. Visit the Wrapper contract here , connect your wallet, hit contract, then write contract just like before and finally choose ‘7. wrap‘ and do the same stupid number thing again. Click Write, and confirm the transaction in your wallet and that’s DONE.

You have wrapped BaseDOGE! You can add this contract address to your wallet to look at them 0x373504DA48418C67E6FCD071F33Cb0b3B47613C7.
