The nature of the Web has evolved over the previous decades from Static, where you can only read, to become Interactive domain, where you read and write. People, Communities and Things are now interacting in an unprecedented way. That’s great. But….
While on the surface everything looks advancing, because of the web, it is becoming more clear now that beneath the surface there is a massive monopoly of the value created because of the web. Insights and opportunities drawn from the interactions amongst the web users is being exploited by the very few with no promise of giving back. The gigantic club is accumulating, concentrating and monopolizing wealth and, most importantly, Data. It is reaching a point where the image of Master-Slave is not far from imagination.
I look at the Web3 as the gate to a new reality. I imagine the web3 as the domain where the Value created because of meaningful interactions between participants is shared fairly amongst them. A domain where exploitation is systematically applied and protected. A domain that encourages contribution, guarantees inclusion, and uncompromisingly protects rights.
To me, Value Sharing is the new nature of relationships and interactions between People, Communities, and Things. Value Sharing is what should WEB3 deliver.
