Hi all. Today is a new beginning in my life. After all the tough experiences I had in the last 2 years in web3 space I finally had the courage to launch a web3 film studio.
I want to talk today about the OUR Studio and the goals that I personally want to achieve.
OUR Studio is an initiative built to gather talented and sincere artists of web3 to create a safe space for them AND to give service to web3 brands & communities to create a sustainable business model.
I structured the Studio with 3 separate sub-brands. OUR Crew, OUR Collab & OUR Fund.
‘‘OUR Crew’’ is basically a space for artists who are willing to create without any financial stress and to share their knowledge with others.
Here we will gather artists from different branches, listen to their problems and projects, learn their needs and build new tools and opportunities according to them.
A) We planned to create a tokenized system where artists get rewarded when they solve each other’s problems.
In example: If an artist X needs a trailer for his/her new drop but doesn’t know how to create one and artist Y helps him/her by working together and creating a trailer, then Y will be rewarded with tokens. Then at the end of the month Y can get use his tokens to claim eth in return.
By doing this reward system we want to help artists at least to pay their bills and to keep continue building in web3 without stressing about the bills. It won’t be a lot but I think that it could be helpful to keep inside the web3.
B) Experimenting with artists and devs together
We are planning to host discord office hours to make new experiments. Listening to the needs of artists is crucial in this space. Every artist wants to use the best tools out there to tell their stories in the best way they can but yet many of them fail to do that because of the lack of knowledge or technology.
We will first understand what is the issue and then let our developers to solve those issues with their degen ideas.
C) Workshops with experts
The other thing that we will do during OUR discord office hours is to get the experts on stage and host workshops about art, blockchain, marketing, and finance. To tell a good story in a new medium, you need to first understand the medium and this can only be done by educating yourself.
D) Collective Drops
This year we saw that working on your own is really hard. We want to work together with our artists and curate together with them to come up with compelling stories. Collective Drops will not be published only on web3 marketplaces but we will also have IRL events and exhibitions.
‘‘OUR Collab‘‘ is a Creative Agency sub-brand to make partnerships with web3 brands and communities to give service for creating more value for their communities. With OUR experienced IRL partners and really talented artists on OUR Crew, we are looking forward to producing high-quality trailers, commercials, movies, and video content for the web3 brands for really affordable prices.
We want to make the web3 community even more valuable by providing quality service to our partners at every stage, from the script to post-production.
We have highly experienced production partners in IRL such as Modi Film & Aniverse Films who worked recently with Coca-Cola, Hyundai, Samsung, Turkish Airlines, Ford, Citroen, Jotun, Irish Independent, Doğuş Holding, Turkcell, and many more.
*The 70% of the profit that we will make from OUR Collab will go directly to OUR Community wallet and 30% will be used for OUR team members.
‘‘OUR Fund‘ is a Film Production House sub-brand to curate, fund, and produce the film projects of OUR community artists.
I know how hard can be for filmmakers to fund their projects in web2 and web3. But here we go, we are here for them. Filmmakers will be able to submit their projects to OUR community and together with our holders and OUR Crew we will curate and select the projects that we love and will fund the projects from OUR Community wallet.
We will not only produce but we will also distribute and attend festivals with the help of OUR friends at Modi Film.
We are aware that all these things can’t be done at once. We will start building OUR Studio brick by brick.
Today Phase 1 of the Studio will go live and we want to create a community first.
