Berlin Blockchain Week was an incredibly productive experience for me. This was my second time in Berlin, but my first in a blockchain context.
I arrived on Friday, June 13th , and jumped straight into the Solana Demo Day at the W3 Hub.
I reconnected with Carlo from SuperteamDE, who I'd met three years ago at NFT Paris. He was a great host and showed me around.

During the Demo Day break, I had lunch with Philipp (aslo part of the Berlin ecosystem) and then checked out Web3Privacy Now's opening event. Vitalik Buterin spoke there, inspiring the hackers. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and W3PN felt like a truly authentic place in blockchain.
I saw Atlas from Via Labs, who was a partner at ETH Bucharest and won the ETH Global Hackathon Prague with an amazing product called Decyle.
I also said hello to Alina, "the mother of all hackathons," and other old friends.
I returned to the Solana Demo Day for the results.
After the closing ceremony, the Golden Pocket team (one of the winners) stopped me, telling me they knew me from ETH Bucharest 2025 and enjoyed my closing speech. That meant a lot to me!
Here’s the post will all winners of the Demo Day.

Later, I headed to a party organized by Polkadot and Webzero, a great way to end a very long day that started at 4:00 AM.

There, I met Eugen, one of my longest friends in crypto, with whom I worked at Stakeborg DAO.
Bianca Buzea from DevRel Uni/Chronicle joined us later, and we had a great time. I also reconnected with Marcin from Poland, who presented our project at my first hackathon, ETH Sofia. It truly is a small world in crypto.
The next day was a bit slower; I spent most of it catching up on work at the W3 Hub. In the evening, the W3 Hub was still buzzing with three events happening simultaneously (Solana, Bitvavo, and Cardano).

On Sunday, I was back at the W3 Hub for a Solana Superteam DE partner's day.
I connected with Raphael from Backpack, Renato from Solana Name Service, and Konstantinos from Jupiter. The presentations were incredibly informative.

Afterward, I went to the One Football event, organized together with Animoca, and Fifa Rivals. I've been a long-time user of One Football for news, so I was very curious to learn about their Web3 plans. Congratulations to the Vincent, One Football GM and to Yat Siu and Robby Yung the Animoca team for their partnership – this is what Web3 is all about!

After a quick stop at the hotel, the Solana Sunset Cruise was the highlight of my trip. Despite the rain risk, the Solana team put on an amazing event with incredible scenery along the river, good food, drinks, and great vibes.
I connected with many people, and a big shout-out goes to Jess for her excellent organization.

The night was still young, so some of us went to a rooftop bar to dance and connect further. The natural flow of these in-person events is truly magical.

Overall, Berlin Blockchain Week was an incredible experience, full of valuable connections, inspiring projects, and a vibrant community. It really solidified my belief that the crypto space, though global, feels incredibly close-knit.

I'm already looking forward to the next one! See you at the Solana APEX Budapest!
