Exploration Missions are bite-sized strategy games where you earn discoveries on Mars by contributing tokens. We’re excited to launch some more features that incorporate player feedback:
Weekly competitions will offer significant token rewards to those that play consistently and will be exclusive to PFP holders. Accumulate Discovery Points by actively playing exploration missions and climbing a weekly leaderboard. Competitions are split up based on blockchain, so there may be multiple happening at the same time.
Competitions are exclusive to PFP holders:
On Berachain, you will need to hold a Beranaut PFP to join the competition. These will be minting in May.
Monad will also get its own exclusive PFP. Details coming soon.
Prize Pool details:
7.5% of refuel contributions will go to the weekly prize pools. Prize pools will grow proportionally to increased player contributions and refueling actions.
Additional $BERA will be up for grabs in the Berachain competitions, on top of this 7.5% contribution.
Please note that these numbers are subject to change at any point and for any reason.
To increase your luck during exploration missions, you can activate a Charm for a small token fee on your profile. These give you increased discovery odds for a certain number of refuel actions.
Tardigrades will be used as Charms on Berachain.
Marsnads will be used as Charms of Monad.
In addition to the new token earning opportunities outlined above, we are also adding some fun new UI features to allow you to show off your collectibles and navigate easier:
Show off your PFP, which will be displayed on all leaderboards throughout exploration missions.
You can now hover on anyones profile to see their stats and collectibles.
We’ve updated the homepage as well, which now features some more info on the city-building gameplay which is coming soon.
