The name Glimera comes from Glimpse + Ephemera. These figures portrayed in my works are called Ephemeras in the world I’m building. I used the word “glimpse” in here because these photos reflect a mere glimpse of them in the darkness, glowing with their own fingerprint.

I’ve started this project while I was going to university. Yves Klein had a work named “Blue Woman Art” and that was my main inspiration for making this project. Project didn’t see an end because I had to deal with other projects back then. Thankfully NFTs got popular and I was able to put them to good use.

First of all, these are photographs, captured with projection light in real time. I work with my model friends so each piece presents a different model/figure than others. This also calls for designing unique patterns for them to better display their form with the help of a projector. Their pose states their unique mood in the frame so the color palette also changes accordingly based on their mood and figure.

I don’t like to use the word utility however since Glimeras are an important part of the world I’m building, they will come into play in the future in one way or another. Only 12 of them will be minted so 4 more to go to completion as of writing this. They will grow and evolve as I do.
