harmony–ny is building the world’s first interactive streetwear brand and an unprecedented platform for up and coming streetwear talent. The sale of our 1000 piece NFT collection (“keys”) will crowdfund the new label where our key holders (“Creative Collective”) vote on the company’s most critical decisions. 900 keys will be sold and 100 will be given free to people of any age with demonstrated contributions to culture, art, and community that may not be able to afford it. The project will attract world-class designers for the role of harmony’s first Creative Director by offering an incentive-rich (50% of contract), non lump-sum, max one million dollar, two-year contract for the up & coming talent selected for the role. harmony–ny will produce a three part web series featuring the top five candidates’ origin stories, creative processes, past work & portfolios, and blue-sky visions for this blank-slate streetwear label. After watching, the Creative Collective will deliberate on - individually and collectively - who they think best suits this historic role and will then cast their vote. The winning Creative Director will set up shop in our New York City design studio, hire out their dream team, and begin designing their first seasonal collection. During the design phase, harmony’s Creative Collective of 1000 key owners will participate in monthly design meetings and vote on carefully curated but influential decisions for each seasonal collection. Throughout this process, from beginning to end, day and night, our company and its fashion studio will publish content in real-time across all social media platforms, providing unprecedented access to the inner workings of an up & coming streetwear label to, not only our key holders, but millions around the world. Members will receive first access to all limited drops & seasonal collections, all at up to whole-sale prices, before being sold to the public. Members are encouraged to pop by our New York City design studio, various local events throughout the year, and invited to attend our fashion shows, debuting each seasonal collection, around the world. Upon completion of the initial Creative Director’s term, the process repeats, every two years, for choosing a successor - open call, a web series featuring the finalists, member vote - and with it comes a redefining of our evolving brand, again through the fresh perspective of yet another up & coming streetwear talent. After several successful two-year cycles of showcasing young talent, producing hit collections, capturing the attention of the industry, and turning our Creative Directors into stars in their own right, we hope to establish harmony’s reputation as the first-in-class platform for rising streetwear talent.
