Today, we’re introducing PINEDAO, a firm designed from the ground up to interrupt and improve the current agriculture industry. The idea is to release farmers’ stress, protect the soil and decrease the price for daily consumed agricultural goods, especially during the current inflating economy.

I discovered the crypto world in 2019, a college kid who was fearless and tried to purchase a fake ID on the darknet in order to get into clubs with my fellow college friends (i still do not understand why you need to be 21 to get into bars&clubs here in the US), and surprisingly the entire crypto world enlightened my vision. After spending the vast majority of my time ( sometimes I was even minting NFTs on lectures) diving into the blockchain world and I finally started realizing the power of it, why not connect some dots and build something out of it?

For people who shout ‘GMs’ every day, we normally interpret ‘farming’ as Defi AMMs to get rewards from people trading in liquidity pools. However, things start to get boring with chatting with all you degens in the Discord channels ( guys I’m kidding, who doesn’t enjoy the super hyped positivity in the crypto world ).

Last Monday the weather wasn’t very good here in NC and I decided not to go to my 8:30 am lecture and stayed at my apartment scrolling on Twitter, but this voice in my brain start talking “go do something with your degree and crypto”, I was like “okay”? If I can’t sell this degree, then definitely should find some way to use it. Yes, my own brain reminded me I major in Agriculture Business Management and Entrepreneurship at NC State, and I have to admit that there are many times I thought about dropping out because these two seem not to attract my attention like what crypto does. Well, life is very interesting, after consuming a huge amount of alcohol on a daily basis and not paying attention to education, I finally want to live a healthy life and do some adult stuff.

With all the faculty members I have from the world-class department, and those beautiful people I met on Twitter&Discord, it definitely worth a try. Many retail farmers here in North Carolina are having difficulties funding their operation and many lack the information and knowledge to maximize the efficiency of the farms, and regenerative agriculture should absolutely be known to the public in order to protect the farmland and our environment (yes there are occasions I pay attention when not minting NFTs). With the power of web3, we will help farmers, protect farmlands, and have true organic produce for everyone.

My path to this moment is like a rollercoaster, there were nights I can’t fall asleep because of the rug pulls, there were days I feel like the king on the planet. “We are nothing but specks of dust in the universe, enjoy every step of the process.”, my grandpa always says that to me, and this time I will listen to him and enjoy the steps in life. I hope you will as well.

I am committed to building a web3 firm that when looking back to my life in my 80s I can still put a smile on my face. This is a very exciting first step, let us build the future together, I will keep sharing the steps and building the team with people who have the same vision.
