From First Steps to Expectations: My Experience with Mint Blockchain.

Introduction

It all started when I unexpectedly received a MintPass Freemint from ElementMarket. At the time, I didn't think much of it—just another token, no big deal. However, as time went on, I began noticing more and more mentions of Mint Blockchain across various social media platforms. This piqued my interest, and I decided it was time to figure out what this was all about.

The first thing that caught my eye was the description of Mint Blockchain: "The native Ethereum L2 for NFTs, built on Optimism and NFTScan, aims to accelerate mass adoption of NFTs by integrating them with Superchain to enhance accessibility and efficiency." At that moment, I thought, "Wow, this is cool! It's definitely something worth keeping an eye on."

This phrase instantly grabbed my attention, as the combination of Ethereum, L2, NFT, and Superchain sounded like a true technological marvel. But what is it really? Why are so many people talking about it? These questions became the starting point of my journey into the world of Mint Blockchain.

First Steps in the Project

After learning about Mint Blockchain and understanding its potential, my first significant step in the project was becoming a Mint Genesis Holder. Thanks to having a whitelist spot, this wasn’t difficult, but the sense of belonging to something big and new gave this event special significance. From that moment, I started following the project more closely, pondering the potential benefits and what it might offer me in the future. The answer didn’t take long to arrive. Soon after, the "Mint Forest" was announced—a crucial stage in the development of the Mint ecosystem. Along with this news came the introduction of the Mint ID, which offered its holders the most significant advantages in the "Mint Forest." It made perfect sense: the deeper you are integrated into the ecosystem, the more opportunities open up for you. Although I didn’t decide to acquire a Mint ID, my interest in the project only grew stronger.

How Mint Works?

While waiting for the full release of Mint Forest, I began to dive deeper into how Mint Blockchain itself operates. Simply put, there are two main types of projects related to NFTs (digital assets) on the Mint blockchain.

The first type is NIP (Mint Improvement Proposal), where developers propose new ideas or standards for NFTs. If these proposals are approved, they receive "NIP Ready" status and move into the development phase. This process is akin to preparing dishes in a high-end restaurant, where each proposal is carefully reviewed and refined before becoming part of the overall menu.

The second type is MRC (Mint Request for Comments), which serves as the standard for NFTs on this blockchain. If a NIP proposal successfully passes all stages of development and receives approval, it becomes an official MRC standard that can be used to create and sell NFTs. The creators of these NFTs pay fees for using the blockchain, and these fees are distributed among those who worked on developing the MRC standards. This incentivizes developers to continue creating new and useful standards for all blockchain users.

Mint Forest and Other Activities

As I delved deeper into the project, it became clear that most of the current activities revolve around Mint Forest and the Mint AirDrop. If you’re familiar with crypto projects, these terms are likely to bring some pleasant associations.

Mint Forest is one of the central components of the Mint Blockchain ecosystem, and with recent updates, it has undergone significant changes. After the latest update, named Forest 2.0, the developers implemented several important adjustments based on user feedback. This is a crucial point, as considering the community's opinions plays a vital role in the world of cryptocurrencies, especially in recent times.

One of the most significant changes in Forest 2.0 was the introduction of new features that effectively combat so-called Sybil accounts—fake accounts created to gain unfair advantages. Now, Mint Forest can truly reward active and honest users, making participation in the project even more valuable and engaging. Additionally, a feature was added that allows users to steal points from inactive farmers, along with an incremental reward system (the more consecutive days you log in, the more points you earn daily).

Mint AirDrop, also known as Mint Expedition, is another exciting element of the project. This process involves completing various tasks related to the Mint Blockchain ecosystem and is divided into eight eras or expeditions, depending on your preference. Each expedition lasts for a month, during which participants can complete tasks, earn rewards, and deepen their involvement in the project.

My Achievements in the Project

So far, my achievements in the Mint Blockchain project, though not numerous, can be considered quite good, especially given that I haven’t invested significant funds, only time. Nonetheless, I managed to remain among the top 3,000 users, which in itself is a significant accomplishment.

Additionally, I own a Mint Genesis NFT, which I believe may not become a major asset in the future, but is an important tool now (thanks to it, I earn more points daily—only MintID holders earn more). Active participation in the expeditions and completing various tasks within Mint AirDrop not only brings additional points but also contributes to a deeper immersion in the project’s ecosystem.

Another aspect of my involvement has been volunteering for the project. This is not only an opportunity to help the community but also a chance to learn more about Mint Blockchain, interact with other participants, and possibly influence the project’s development. I believe that my efforts and achievements will eventually bear fruit, both in terms of personal growth and the development of the Mint ecosystem.

Future Plans and Conclusion

The Mint Blockchain project is still in its early stages, and there’s much more excitement ahead. We are currently in the second expedition, with six more to come, each promising new tasks, rewards, and opportunities. Who knows what surprises the project has in store for its participants during these expeditions and beyond? One thing is certain: it’s never too late to join the project, and now is the perfect time to become a part of it.

Remember, to receive rewards for your farming efforts, be sure to obtain a GreenID. This is an important element that will help you claim your well-deserved rewards and increase them as well. And for those who hold a MintID, don’t forget that your NFT must be staked at the time of the snapshot for you to receive your rewards. Don’t miss this opportunity—and everything will be great!

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that Mint Blockchain is not just another project, but an ecosystem that is committed to continuous growth and improvement. By participating in the expeditions and actively engaging with the community, you not only earn valuable rewards but also become part of something bigger. The future of the project promises to be exciting, and now is the best time to be a part of it.
