The total amount of LQTY is 100,000,000, which will be released together with the launch of the Liquity mainnet on April 5, 2021. As of July 8, 2021, the circulation of LQTY is 6.31 million (data taken from the official duneanalytics), and the circulating market value is 33.5 million.

● 35.3% is allocated to the Liquity community, of which 32,000,000 LQTY is allocated to the LQTY reward pool. These tokens are used to incentivize stable pool deposits, and the cumulative issuance follows the function: 32,000,000 (1-0.5 ^ years). That is, 16 million were distributed in the first year, and 8 million were distributed in the second year; 1,333,333 LQTY was allocated to the LP in the LUSD-ETH Uniswap pool, and the distribution was completed within six weeks after the agreement went live; 2,000,000 LQTY was reserved for the community reserve fund .

● 23.7% is allocated to current (and future) employees and consultants of Liquity AG. This part of LQTY has a one-year lock-up period, unlocked 1/4 after one year, and then unlocked 1/36 every month thereafter.
