oDoge! [Tutorial Attached]

We are excited to announce the launch of BoringDAO oDoge Tunnel.

This tutorial is a demonstration of how to mint oDogecoin, pledge PP tokens and redeem.

Please download Bitpie or Huobi wallet first on your phone and import your wallet and select DOGE wallet system.

  1. Once you successfully transfer Dogecoin into your Bitpie wallet, return to the home page, click ‘Discover’ and type in ‘BoringDAO’ in Tool Browser BOX which is highlighted in the image below. Of course, you can also use your Metamask to open it.

  2. Choose the correct BoringDAO Link which is highlighted in the image below. Then you will enter the BoringDAO website (app.boringdao.com).

  3. After arriving at the BoringDAO website, click the option button on the upper left corner and click ‘mint’. Click the BTC icon in highlighted box and select DOGE.

  4. After type in the amount of Dogecoin you wish to mint, you will be shown ‘OP_Return Intro’. It explains what ‘OP_Return’ is. After carefully read through the introduction, tick two boxes which are highlighted in the image below.

  5. After ticking two boxes and click ‘Confirm’ button, you will be given a multisignature address with its barcode. Copy the multisignature address and return to Dogecoin wallet system to make the transaction.

  6. *The Box in the bottom was set as a remainder to keep you in mind that you must leave Ethereum address in the OP_Return Column when you are transferring your Dogecoin. You do NOT need to tick it. Just copy the address and leave the page.

  7. When you return to the Dogecoin wallet system, click ‘transfer’ and paste the address you received from last step into the address box and enter the amount of Dogecoin you wish to transfer. MOST IMPORTANTLY, leave your Ethereum address in ‘Advanced Setup’ section.

  8. After you successfully complete all the procedures, oDoge Tunnel will start to mint.

  9. The Mint process duration is about 30 minutes.

  13. Final result

  14. As you can see from the image below, once tunnel has finished minting, you would receive both oDoge coin and extra BOR as rewards.

  15. ※You will not get oDoge in the following situations:

  16. OP_Return is not filled in or in wrong format.

  17. Tunnel capacity reached its maximum capacity.

  18. Use wrong address to mint oDoge (e.g., Exchange Account)

  19. >>>Burn<<<

  20. Open BoringDAO website in Bitpie wallet and click ‘burn’ button and enter the amount of oDoge you wish to burn and your Dogecoin wallet address then press the ‘next’ button.

  21. After clicking the ‘next’ button, you will be shown the transaction fee in Dogecoin and Burning fee in BOR and click ‘Approve’ and ‘confirm’.

  22. Wait for 30 mins and you will receive the dogecoin back into your account.

  24. Pledge

  25. Open BoringDAO website on Bitpie, click the option button on upper left corner the default tunnel is oBTC tunnel, you need to change it to oDoge Tunnel by clicking the Tunnel button and select oDoge.

  26. Click ‘Approve’ and ‘Pledge’ then you will be given PP token and you can enter BoringFarm to farm and get BOR rewards.

  27. Redeem

  28. The redeem section is right below the Pledge section, enter the amount of BOR you wish to redeem and click the “Redeem” button.

  29. Please note that there is a lock period of 24 hours after your redemption. You can withdraw the redeemed BOR after 24 hours.
