Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science that studies the creation of computer systems capable of performing tasks that require the intellectual skills normally associated with human intelligence. AI seeks to create computer programs and systems that can perceive the environment, process information, make decisions, learn, and interact with people and other computer systems.

History and development of artificial intelligence:

Ideas related to artificial intelligence date back to ancient history, but as a science and practical field, artificial intelligence began to develop in the mid-20th century. In 1956, a landmark conference was held at Dartmouth College that is considered the beginning of AI research. Artificial intelligence continued to evolve in the decades that followed, passing through various phases such as the "golden age" in the 1960s, "stagnation" in the 1970s and 1980s, and a "rebirth" in the 1990s with the development of new techniques and technologies.

Artificial intelligence has progressed significantly in recent decades, especially with the development of computing power, the amount of data available, and machine learning algorithms. Today, AI is used in many fields, such as medicine, transportation, finance, marketing, science, manufacturing automation, and others, and has a significant impact on many aspects of our lives.
