Is time / change two dimensional?

We tend to think of it in terms of a single axis, but perhaps sequentiality is only one of the parameters, the other one being....relative elevation (which is independent of sequentiality) and arguably more consequential as a result.

I would go so far as to say that relative elevation is the true arrow of time and not sequentiality as we’ve come to think of it as.
