RealNifty is built differently.
When it comes to NFTs, we offer physical delivery on any attached physical items throughout our entire marketplace.
This means you can redeem physical items easily, safely, and keep in contact via the RealNifty messaging system or emails for any updates from our delivery team or the creators themselves.
If you want to learn more about our delivery options, carry on reading!
RealNifty offers different delivery methods for our sellers to choose from when selling NFTs with an attached physical item.
Creators will be able to choose their delivery method attached to any physical items when minting their NFTs. They can also change the method of delivery at any time via the Creator Dashboard.
During minting, you will have the option to choose Label Delivery.
Label Delivery means the creator (you) packages the physical item to pre-determined criteria themselves and attaches pre-paid labels for delivery.
We will contact you via email with the pre-paid labels for you to print off and attach to the package for you to send to the redeemer.
Please be aware, if you choose to have this option available, you must be prepared to deliver and stay in contact with the redeemer via email/the RealNifty messaging service.
The redeemer of the physical item is the one that pays for the labels and any delivery fees.
What if Label Delivery Can’t Deliver to the Redeemer’s Location?
When purchasing an NFT where a redeemable physical item comes with ‘label delivery’, there may be cases where delivery options won’t be available for the redeemer’s location. This is more likely to happen with locations outside of the US, UK, Europe, or Asia.
In this case, they will likely see the message below after inputting their delivery address:

If this is the case, the redeemer will have to contact the seller (you) directly to have the physical element of the NFT delivered. They can do this through the RealNifty messaging service located in the menu bar when you’re logged in with a wallet, or via your email address provided to the redeemer.
Self-Shipment means the responsibility falls on you, the creator, to deliver any physical item once redeemed. You must make sure the item is packaged correctly, keep in contact with the redeemer via email/the RealNifty messaging service and follow through in a timely manner.
We also recommend that you insure the item that you are delivering for safety and security for both you and the redeemer.
It is the creator/seller’s responsibility to pay the delivery costs of physical items when selecting self-delivery.
This option is only available to creators that we trust and have been vetted.
RealNifty also offers a third option for those higher priced items: Fully Handled Delivery. As a creator, you can contact RealNifty before minting your NFT to find out more details and costs of this third option via info@realnifty.xyz.
Fully Handled Delivery means that the creator can sit back and relax while our delivery service handles everything on your behalf.
The redeemer of a physical item will be able to choose from a range of options for delivery of the physical item.
This will, however, cost more than both Label Delivery or Self-Shipment for the redeemer.
This includes the packing and picking up of your item at your chosen address. Once your physical item has been redeemed, we will be in contact with you over email to confirm any details needed including a time to pick up the physical item and customs information needed, if applicable.
The redeemer is the one that pays any delivery fees.
Once anyone buys an NFT from the original owner, they have a year to redeem any physical items attached. If the new owner fails to redeem in this time frame, they will forfeit the physical item and ownership will change back to the original creator. If an NFT is sold on within the year and any physical item attached has not been redeemed, the new owner will have to redeem the physical within the same time limit. For example, if someone buys the NFT and sells it on after 6 months with the physical item still unredeemed, the new owner will have 6 months to redeem the physical.Owners will be sent reminders throughout the year reminding them to redeem.
Further details on delivery options and responsibilities can be found in the RealNifty terms and conditions.
Remember, you can change your delivery options at any time in your creator dashboard.
Happy Creating!
