I don’t think people are excited enough.
That’s the short version.
The things I am seeing right now will upend the world and rewrite the rules.
What I am seeing will replace voting with something better, more transparent and more trustworthy.
What I am seeing will allow citizens to get paid based on the financial throughput of their own society (Citizen Share of Economy).
The things I am looking at will allow the creation of network infrastructure that pays to offset it’s own carbon footprint in real time.
The things I am looking at will allow the creation of index funds for sustainability use cases, and allow citizens to see how all their funds are spent via a total dashboard.
What I am seeing will eliminate many legal cases through automatic, mathematically based procedures and distributed mediation.
What I am seeing will allow mechanisms for universal basic income.
The technologies I am seeing will allow people in Africa with no connectivity or infrastructure to set up and run their own connectivity hardware to provide internet to their neighbors, and profit doing it.
I am seeing the foundations going into place to allow the formation of decentralized unions that cover pensions, healthcare and protect workers rights.
These same foundations will form the basis of distributed nation states consisting of people who want to be part of those states.
The things I am looking at will allow emerging markets to compete toe-to-toe with major western economies for talent and innovation.
People are not excited enough.
