4 years ago, more than 2 billion people across the globe used Facebook every month as a place to connect and share thoughts, ideas and laughs with friends. More than 60 million emojis are used on Facebook every day and more than 5 billion emojis are used on Messenger every day. According to WeChat data released in 2019 , there are more than 30,000 sets of sticker packs and over 70,000 sticker creators across the WeChat platform, generating over 600 million stickers sends per day, and the across the internet platform has reached 100 billion stickers sent in 2016 alone.

But here is the truth. First of all, the current income level of sticker creators is low, and it is difficult to survive only by making and selling stickers. For example, the reward payment rate of WeChat Sticker is extremely low, accounting for less than 10% of the total income of WeChat Stickers Secondly, most of the stickers are light IP that is difficult to form a huge story system and industry chain similar to Marvel and Disney, and over-reliance on social platforms will only limit the further development of the sticker culture industry.

The mission of the StickerDAO is to inspire a powerful solidarity network and build a strong community with cohesion to incubate talented and hardworking sticker creators. We hope that with the more fair distribution of benefits, we can greatly stimulate the creators’ passion and imagination to create marvelous sticker masterpieces. And finally, we will challenge those web 2.0 monopolistic enterprises to fight for the benefits that should belong to the sticker creators and build a better, web 3.0-adapted creation distribution mechanism.

1. Funding: 

   1. In order to be a DAO , we need a governance token for decision making. This is our first step.

   2. In order to challenge the present unfair benefit distribution between sticker creators and centralized platforms controlled by web2.0 monopolies

   3. There is no expectation of profit with this token, this token’s purpose is to coordinate our governance.

2. Recruiting:

   1. Early participants are able to earn additional token rewards!!!

1. We will mint StickerDAO columnists'(senior creators) artworks in NFTs and release these NFTs in the marketplace.We believe that NFT will absolutely protect the creators from copyright infringement.

2. The money raised from the sale of these NFTs will definitely improve the columnists’ income and make them influential.

3. More influential our columnists are, the more powerful our community is. Then we have the ability to challenge sticker-creating ecology at present controlled by web2.0 monopolies.

StickerDAO works as a decentralized autonomous organization, which are member-owned communities without centralized leadership.

DAO governance is basically dependent on voting. The voting power is granted by token, creator committee, judging panel and core team.

1. Token holder is like our sugar daddy.

2. Creator committee: it consists of active creators,columnists and community contributors. It has the right to decide the management affairs about creating things in DAO. 

3. Jury panel: it usually does critical thinking in creators’ artworks and certificates  stickers, emojis or memes. The jury panel is composed of contributors and the core team.

There are two main ways to get the token.

1. Proof of Work:  The best way to get $Skr is by working with us to help build the DAO and carry out our mission. For more information, see our Contribute page.

2. Trade: Obviously you can buy $Skr on decentralized exchanges.

The initial allocation ratio of StickerDAO Token is as follows.

DAO financing: 50%

Creator rewarding: 25% (linear release )

Columnist rewarding : 10% (linear release)

Contributor rewarding: 10%

Sharing treasury: 5%

1. Our token has a fixed supply and will never increase the supply of the tokens.

2. Our token is used for governance decisions. 

3. The funds raised from this token will be used to pay the DAO expenses to complete our mission(Columnist,sticker creators, website developers, solidity developers, marketing, legal consulting, etc.).

4. The token raise will be conduct on Juicebox, and every contribution created governance tokens at a fixed rate. Contributors received 50% of those tokens in their wallets, and the remaining 50% stay with the DAO in order to fund the work required to make this DAO function. These tokens form part of the shared treasury that token holders can vote on with their tokens.

5. There is no expectation of profit with this token. It is a governance token. You are not receiving fractionalized ownership of the DAOs assets in exchange for the token.

We will use the same strategy as ConstitutionDAO for the initial fundraise for StickerDAO. We'll store the funds in a Gnosis multi-sig with some of the core work group, and then use Juicebox's protocol to raise funds. Once we have a coin we will use a snapshot to make decisions as a DAO.

1. Creator: Join the DAO as a creator character and show us your artworks, including but not limited to stickers, emojis, memes, etc. Be our guest and communicate with other creators, help us build the DAO. We want you in!

   1. If your work is certified by the Jury panel, you will be rewarded with tokens.The numbers would be decided by the Creator Committee.

   2. Creators who are active and have tremendous contribution in the community will be elected to the committee.

    

2. Columnist: Those creators who created outstanding artworks will be upgraded

   1. Token will be paid monthly to columnists.

   2. Columnist will automatically become a Creator Committee member

   3. There will be a curated gallery to show columnists’ artworks.

   4. Attend public events and participate in inner DAO management.

3. Evangelist: Actively use, spread and collect the stickers, emojis and memes which are generated in our community.

   1. Everyone in StickerDAO is an evangelist. 

   2. Active evangelists will be selected as contributors who will also be rewarded with tokens. The numbers would be decided by the core team.

   3. Evangelists have the chance to be on the Jury panel.
