What is ssv.network?

In a word: Through SSV (Secret Shared Validator) technology, build an open source protocol to provide infrastructure for decentralized staking.

SSV (also known as "DVT", Distributed Validator Technology) is the first secure and scalable implementation technology for sharing validator private keys between operators , and SSV technology can also be used for other POS public chains .

For example, in ssv.network, a validator can choose 4 operators, so that even if 1-2 of them fail to work, it will not result in penalties for the Ethereum staked by the validator. Moreover, since the verifier's private key is split through SSV technology, no operator has the complete verifier's signature private key, which prevents a single node from being punished by the system due to failure or evil.

For verifiers, they have full control of the private key for withdrawal and signature, and will not cause their pledged ETH to be confiscated due to the low performance or active behavior of an operator;

Before the advent of SSV technology, there is a risk of being fined offline when upgrading and maintaining nodes.
