Crypto as a whole lacks core infrastructure, and we're not talking dexes. Despite the tech, eco-systems have not broken into consumer-facing industries and won't with the current appeal. For this reason, we need a new breed of dApps and it starts with a name service.
Most alt L1 chains' name services are direct copies of ENS with 0 innovation. ENS is good for Ethereum because of its tech constraints on ETH (high cost, low TPS). But, with chains like Sui (low cost, high TPS), there's a whole world of innovation available on this idea.
Our goal is to eventually build products for consumer-facing web2 industries like Gaming and Domains through our infrastructure on web3. With every domain registration, an on-chain profile will also be registered per wallet, usable everywhere. Think: Gmail for Crypto Gaming.
Our approach to Sui is community and innovation first. Following our domain and profile service, we will expand into building other core products - starting with Sui-based messaging. Imagine having Dapp Game send you messages automatically all on-chain, crazy right?
This is where web3 is going and Sui is the perfect blank canvas to create the first blue-chip name service and set a standard for the rest of the Sui eco-system.
