This entry is about the start of my journey in programming. I’ve done very minimal R, SQL, VBA, and Matlab. I’ve not really spent time on learning programming until recently. Admittedly, I’ve decided rather late compared to most others who start in their teen or college years, “Why not learn finally how to program?”. My main motivations were to 1.) stay abreast of developments in blockchain, and AIML technologies; 2.) challenge myself; and 3.) I had some financial analysis/prediction ideas I wanted to implement. Therefore, I am trying to learn Python and Solidity at the same time with a 80/20 split of focus. For Python, the end goal is advanced time-series, neutral nets, ensembles. For Solidity, my goals are less ambitious-- writing gas-efficient smart contracts, potentially for an NFT project. These hopefully aren’t unreasonable goals. This Mirror blog will primarily be about my journey in learning Solidity. My first materials I will use are Cryptozombies.io:
and Stephen Grider’s guide titled “Ethereum and Solidity: The Complete Developer’s Guide” on Udemy.

That’s it for today!
