To start playing DegenReborn, players must pay a fee in $BNB as their ticket. Once in, players can buy talents and attribute points to enhance their gameplay experience. By default, players receive 3 talents and 10 attribute points, but players can purchase more as they advance through the levels. Talents are generally cheaper than attribute points at advanced levels. All $BNB spent by players goes towards the Degen Jackpot, which can be viewed on the Jackpot Page for a breakdown of contributions.
During the game, players must select talents for their current incarnation and allocate attribute points accordingly. To add some spice, DegenReborn also retrieves names from players’ social circles. Players must then embark on their journey, but like life and the market, many events are uncontrollable.
At the end of each incarnation, players are presented with their lifescore. Additionally, an ERC721 will be minted to represent the incarnation, like a tomb. This ERC721 is tradable, and whoever holds it is the owner of that specific incarnation.
The primary utility for DEGEN tokens is to earn rewards such as Airdrop and Jackpot, which provide both DEGEN tokens and native tokens like BNB. Additionally, DEGEN tokens will be used for future game modes in DegenReborn.
DEGEN tokens can also be burned from circulating supply by staking them as tribute. This does not prevent the tokens from being moved across different incarnations at any time.
Since the leaderboard is refreshed at the start of each new season, new incarnations and DEGEN tokens must be created to compete in the new season.
