On 28 January, the first four teams of scientists and two public technical platforms were placed in the city’s laboratory (future medical town); on 24 February, the first building of the hospital in the east of Sichuan University was successfully closed; and on 9 March, the first biomedical standard plant in the future medical city — the main building block of the Centre for Advanced Medical Results Transformation Project No. 4. At present, the chain of future medical town, “Medical production”, is gradually becoming operational with a “acceleration”-building posture and the distribution of a vibrant developmental lifeline.

The Officer-in-Charge of the new Sector in the east indicated that in 2023, the sector’s focus area plan introduced 96 new priority projects, implementing 236 priority projects, with a view to completing the fixed assets investment of $395 million.
