i remember bein’ uh rapper .. the shyt was coo ! listenin’ to ya favorite instrumentals for hours thinkin’ uh the hottest lines to put together was .. one uh the most excitin’ times uh my lyfe !

“ do you have ya copyrights and publishin’ youngblood .. ?! somebody once asked me .. needless to say i didn’t lol .. but that sparked the ambition to not only learn what those were .. but to get those !

while in pursuit of gettin’ those in order .. i started to understand that there were other facets of the music industry hidden in what we call “ the music business .. “

key word : business !

i started to drift off into the business side more and in doin’ so .. it showed me things that some artists don’t even know smh .. but i was startin’ too !

business structures were key with me .. they have some uh the protections that are needed when doin’ business .. of any kind !

the sole proprietor is the most basic business structure .. with little to no protections ! it’s basically an alias of you .. uh fictitious name if you will ! nothin’ to rant and rave about except this .. use this if you’re unsure of what route you’re goin’ in with your business .. it’s safer that way !

partnerships are another form of business structures that .. give basic protections potentially to 2 people lookin’ to do business together !

the corporation is another form which .. is the king of all business structures if you ask me .. you have the s-c corps and they have the ultimate protections for people lookin’ to do business .. they have the most formalities thoo ..

the llc .. my goodness ! the llc is like uh mixture of all uh these structures .. like literally it took some uh the best features from all uh these structures like .. you really don’t know how great the llc is for just the simple things such as holdin’ assets .. or big things like runnin’ an actual business ! wild ..
