After the unlikely alliance of Saved Souls and Swamp Souls, the captain has set sail to battle the enigmatic Gom-lul Wo in his attempt to seize a fragment of the mythic compass.
However this creature will prove to be more challenging than anything then Souls encountered before…
This time the battle is a lot more interactive, the Saved Souls and Swamp Souls will be able to see each other’s actions in real time as they fight Gom-lul Wo using different kinds of attacks and power-ups.
Little is known about this mysterious creature but if one thing is for sure is that it will take a coordinated army to bring him down.
The Souls scouts have discovered that he has a few moves at his disposal:
A targeted attack where he will pick a random Soul and deal moderate damage.
A zap attacks that will affect everyone in the battle for low damage.
A much rarer healing move where he will attempt to get some HP back.
Some Souls have reported that Gom-lul Wo is also able to communicate during the battle somehow but this is only a rumor at this point.
The battle log has been put together by the Souls to provide real time updates for key events during the battle.
It will also allow Souls to share messages on Twitter to encourage new players to join and grow the army to take down Gom-lul Wo more effectively.
The Souls will have a few attacks at their disposal, all with different kinds of stats that will require careful consideration before deciding the plant of action:
Foamy Flick: low damage but low cooldown and low chance to miss.
Healing Current: gain some of your HP back.
Leviathan Lunge: moderate damage but medium cooldown and medium chance to miss.
Kraken’s Fury: high damage but high cooldown and high chance to miss.
All attacks have a chance to land a critical hit which will double its damage.
These attacks provide additional firepower and extra visual effects that let everyone in the battle know that they have been used:
Reef Rush: High damage with very low cooldown.
Seraphina’s Kiss: Brings yourself back to full HP even if knocked out.
Tsunami Slam: Very high damage with moderate cooldown.
Maelstrom Crush: Extreme damage with moderate cooldown.
Special attacks can NOT miss and also have a chance to get a critical hit.
On top of that “Tsunami Slam” and “Maelstrom Crush” provide an additional flair to show who launched the attack to everyone else and will allow them to qualify for exclusive achievements.
On top of direct attacks there are some additional effects that will give an edge to certain Souls:
Swamp Frenzy: The Swamp Souls’ morale has been boosted from winning the Battle of the Swamp so anyone with one in their team will deal an additional 10% damage in all attacks.
Combat Medics: Combat medics are skilled in the art of healing, any Saved or Swamp Soul with an Army Helmet will get bonus healing from “Healing Current”.
Deep within the heart of the swamp land, this new character stands apart from the mundane world, offering a unique assortment of mystical powers and arcane artifacts.
The merchant is the source for Special Attacks, he will airdrop 1x Reef Rush and 1x Seraphina’s Kiss to everyone in the battle once a day.
He will have every other Special Attack available for the Souls to purchase at any time during the battle.
No purchase is necessary to be able to participate in the Battle.
It is said that Gom-lul Wo will be rewarding worthy opponents with special treasures throughout the battle, will you be one of the chosen ones?
