In 2001 I watched the second plane fly into the other tower. I was pretty tempted to join the military once the Iraq war was declared but I was only 13.

However sometime around 2006, I did some research on the WMDs that were being mentioned in the news. Turns out they were not there. The people who told me at a young age the government was lying were right. I decided not to join and pursue college instead. But that was also a bust. Possibly a post for another time.
