Who developed Revolutionary Farmers?

Revolutionary Farmers is developed by a team called CryptoJaguars.

CryptoJaguars is formed by Diego Barquero, Matias Aguilar, Francisco Campos, Manuel Jiménez and Sebastián Salazar, who met online and formed the team, then they are organizing the ideas for the creation of Revolutionary Farmers, as they want to provide benefits to farmers through blockchain and emerging technologies.

CryptoJaguars is a team where its members have knowledge in development, some members provide more technical expertise and others contribute with knowledge, opinions and in a more theoretical way. In the short time that the team has been formed, it has been able to develop together and create solutions with great potential.

The product is escrows to benefit farmers, it solves the problem of making deals and there are differences between the parties involved, it solves it with escrows using Trustless Work. The benefits that farmers have with Revolutionary Farmers:

  • Security when trading their products.

  • Being able to make a deal even before planting the crop.

  • Financing of percentages of the final price to cover crop expenses (fertilizing, clearing the land, harvesting the product).

  • Inclusion in blockchain.

Our solution uses blockchain through Trustless Work, which is an API created in Stellar, to be able to perform escrows.

We are developing this idea because we consider that agriculture is very important for feeding citizens, some of us have known people who practice agriculture and we would like them to have the opportunity to get involved in blockchain technologies and economies.
