In 2022 we spent months watching from the sidelines, doing our own research, and getting involved in the community before pressing our own 1/1 on Catalog. ‘I Found God’, the first single off of our third EP and the first song that felt truly authentic to who we are, was immediately picked up by the collector Michael Sheldon within hours of minting.
Everything you may have read online (and for us included) would make you believe that it was smooth sailing after that. That everything changed and we had a massive “a-ha” moment. Truth is, it wasn’t like that all. What followed was something much more organic and real. We joined a community of people that have the same creative beliefs as we do. That there is no ceiling in anything you choose to do. If you want to disrupt systems, you go and do that and no one can tell you otherwise.

Before going any further, we’d like to thank Michael Sheldon and Cooper Turley - our first collectors. Their contributions have allowed us to spend more time in the studio and creatively energize ourselves by subsidizing many of our expenses (audio engineering, marketing, visual accompanying art, and live performance fees). At this point in our careers, this is support at the highest level and we are truly grateful. Thank you Michael and Cooper.

Along this journey we’ve met many incredible people and have become deeper engrained in the powerful movement of Web3 in the music industry. As Web3 grows the power comes back into the hands of the artist and the community that surrounds them. It has become apparent to us that this is the way of the future. If if an artist is creating something that moves you, that inspires you to be a better version of yourself, who better to be on that artist’s team than you?
The story used to be, “starving artist or millionaire superstar”. Now a middle ground has been formed. If you have created a community that believes in you, that supports you, you have all the safety net you need in order to create and share who you are with the world.
Are you excited for the future? We are.
