The whole crypto space has been taken by storm with the rise of sats/ordinals in the Bitcoin blockchain. There has since been technologies built to stimulate the exploration of Bitcoin blockchain. Here, in this guide, you will learn step by step how to inscribe on a satoshi, using https://sating.io
You found a special/rare sat in your wallet via sating.io and you want to inscribe a Jpeg, or text, in different formats, more preferably HTML format. How then do you go about this?
How do I know whether or not I have an interesting sat?
Visit https://sating.io it supports connecting only Unisat wallet. Its used as a form of logging in. Connect your Unisat wallet and upon successful connection, click on the “Discovery” tab, a search option displays. copy and paste your ordinal address either native segwit or taproot address. The site searches if you have interesting sats or not.

No Interesting sats found? Not to worry! head over to the marketplace tab via the website and pick any sat rarity you want to inscribe on. After purchase, head back to discovery, and repeat. Your interesting sats must be in your wallet.
How Do I Inscribe? Great! Let’s take for example, you bought a palin sat (palindrome sats) and want to inscribe an Image on it, sating makes it possible. Hover over the palindrome and click on the three dotted option like button (Highlighted in green circle ). Next, click Inscribe.

A screen to inscribe pops up, Next step is to click on the two switch like buttons highlighted in red circles (Sat range and Postage setting). Set the postage to your own preference. Postage is also known as padding. This padding will add the number of sat you specify after you inscribe. Making it easy to pay any transfer fees in the future.
There are common errors while inscribing on sats like uncommon sats. For example, one of the common errors when inscribing on uncommon sats is “Failed to inscribe on the sat 256852678928881, rare/interesting sats around the sat (256852678928881). This error message means there are rare sats within the sat range. This is because rare sats are protected by default. You have to enable the SAT RANGE SETTING checkbox so the site assumes the user is aware of the presence of rare sats and still wants to continue the process. Disabling the checkbox will mean the site has assumed the user is unaware of the presence of rare sats so it halts the inscription process.

Please note that with the new released feature, special sats found within your wallet are protected to prevent them from being spent.

When Inscribing on an uncommon sats, you can select one uncommon sat and inscribe on it. Unlike Pizza sats which are different. Uncommon sats are scattered but pizza sats are consecutive, meaning they follow next to each other. other consecutive sats are vintage, block 9, and block 78 which you’ll have to always inscribe from the last sat in range.
For this example, we will be inscribing on a consecutive sat like Pizza (Pizza sats) (PZ)
Firstly, connect your Unisat wallet containing pizza sats or any other consecutive sats. It’s a Unisat wallet because https://sating.io currently supports only Unisat wallets.
