Today we’re excited to announce that Sherbet has acquired Massive, a cryptocurrency casino with over 1.5 million registered players worldwide. This means that we now own the brand, copyright, and rights for the platform, as well as have access to its existing community and social channels.

We've watched Massive build an impressive platform over the last four years, with a large portion of what they built acting as inspiration for us when working on Sherbet. Adding it to the ecosystem only seemed like a natural next step for us and our brand.

This acquisition enables us to get to market faster, shift some focus back to our NFTs, and grow our community like never before.

Sherbet will continue to operate as a separate platform on sherbet.com, with constant updates, including the planned staking system and support. Massive will remain as Massive and be accessible on massive.gg. These two brands will run independently of one another indefinitely.

The first thing we’re doing is relaunching Massive with added support for $BET and staking. Following the launch, Sherbet NFT holders can expect the following benefits:

• We’re introducing a profit share program, enabling holders who stake their NFTs on Sherbet to receive a percentage of Massive’s daily profit. We’re kickstarting the program at 10%, split evenly between holder addresses. Dividends will be converted from house wallet currencies (ETH, BTC, or LTC) to $BET via SushiSwap and paid out daily.

• Access to the holder-only chat channels.

• 100% rake discount on all games. Regular rates are 6.5% for jackpot and 5% for versus. Roulette is not included.

• Exclusive holder profile badge in chat.

• Early access to new games and features.

Our NFT holders will always be our number one priority, and we’ll continue to add/change benefits based on community feedback.

From the outside, Massive is going to remain the same place it used to be, with some minor visual updates + integration with $BET and Sherbet NFTs. We’ll continue to work on new features - including unfinished ones that never made it out last year.

Under the hood, it’s a different story. We’re going to deploy a dedicated team to review and rebuild (when necessary) the Massive backend from the ground up and sprinkle a bit of our own Sherbet tech here and there. Things have gotten a little rusty since it was last worked on, so it’s up to us to get them back in working order.

We’re going to need a few weeks to get everything finalized. In the meantime, Sherbet is still online and ready to take your bets.
