This is my very first post in Mirror.
Hi all, It’s Shogo from Tokyo. I will be posting my travel memory in Mirror. 3 years back, I have been explored 5 continents, 35 countries over the world after graduation from university. Knowing new places, culture, lives of people means a lot to me since I started my journey. It gives me many kinds of different perspectives, ideas, motivation. Now its time to get back to the travel age again.
As a traveller, I would love to tell many people, especially Japanese, that the travelling is so much fun to do! There are a lot of things you do not know if you are stuck in one places, time to get out to go see new things!
There are different lives over the world, and it is not rare that I encounter a lot of unfairness of the world or poverty. Any opportunities to chase our dreams should not depend on where they were born, what skin colour they have. I believe this is what as many people as possible should be aware of. There are many ways to seriously face those issue as well, and one of them, I believe, might be in web3 world, which is why I tried to use one of the web3 products, Mirror, here.
My dream is to visit all the countries in the world. I don’t really like to split the areas by country since it is likely just lines that human created for their own benefits. But I was born in this age, no choices.
And people like to ask me. What do you want to achieve. What do you want to do. I am not 100% sure if those questions always make sense and I do not have clear answer yet. But What I always feel is that this world is way too unfair and I am not comfortable about it. Some people have limited choices about their dreams depending on the area where they were born regardless of all their efforts or talents. I understand that there is no way that human can create a world with full fairness. But if I imagine the ideal myself, it would be me trying to create the world where more people can chase their dreams.
I have graduated from Waseda univ with space engineer major, then started to travel many countries. After coming back to Tokyo, I was working for digital marketing agency for over 2 years. Apart from I have also involved in many project such as developing the webapp named “Comms“ which is a service for Japanese comedians, and developing the company system with backend code etc.
Then now I am back to travel life again. Let’s see what I find out of this journey!
