Shorum is a platform where you can back a Web3 User and also share your profit with your backers, or we can call it an abstracted native Web3 Social payment channel. We utilize Knn3 to discover your on-chain relations to invite your potential backers.
The whole project demonstrated a way of incentivizing a social relations in Web3.

Create your own crowdfunding pool for you and your followers
We extended Lens Protocol to include a core distribution module, which connects follower’s addresses to the master address in a pool. Define a set of metadata, which relates to your pool.
Invite a number of people into a whitelist or “free entry tickets”
If you want to kickstart a Web3 Profile, you want to grant some addresses an entry to your pool. This step calls KNN3 to generate a list or addresses which may have a past relation with yours according to a history of on-chain events.
Invest a web3 user by back $$ into the crowdfunding pool
Simply, we provided a button to back/follow if a user has created a SHORUM. Bring up, approve and transfer an amount that the user specified in the setting. The amount of tokens would be directly deposited into the user’s wallet.
Plug the shorum and get automatic distribution of profit
If the user wants to share profits with the followers, just simply copy the distribution address into any payout address on Web3 platforms such as Opensea, Defi, Gamefi etc. The payout would be distributed to a multi-sig distribution module and the followers would be able to see a claimable fund.
ERC721/ERC20 as club entry records
We can specify a ERC721 or ERC20 in future as a return to followers including the name of whom you are following and some metadata on ipfs which is fully customizable.

KNN3 provided a graphql interface for you to query a number of users based on your relation search. It is interesting to see how those addresses returned by the query are related to you. Some have invested in the same project and some may have attended the same event that you may or not know.
The whole experiment took a short 5 mins to start and get done.
