gnoland

He's not the new kid on the block, being the founder of the Cosmos Hub and co-founder of Tendermint, Jae Kwon has made it possible to make a fair share of blocks in the world of blockchains. Being a firm believer of keeping the Cosmos Hub as minimalistic as possible and focus on Interchain Security for "consumer chains" he envisioned a new Hub, GnoLand as a robust blockchain for Interoperable Concurrent Smart Contracts that scale by utilizing Gnolang, a strong, robust Go interpreter that's fast enough for blockchain technology and smart contracts.

Through his believes on decentralisation and ideas on governance, GnoLand will not be governed depending on who has the biggest bags but governance will be through proof-of-contribution, making it also an ideal chain for people with technical knowledge to gain more voting power then people with a lot of money. This motivated me to learn more about it because at the moment proof-of-stake chains are indeed becoming more and more centralised and governance is not always in the best interest of a chain or the smaller retail investors and the community who really cares about a project or chain.
