In this dashboard, I will share some perfect insights from my friends that shows the bridging patterns for Avalanch.
1/ First, the benefits this bridge provides. When Bitcoin is bridged, it is represented by an ERC20 token with the symbol BTC.b. The “.b” indicates that the token was bridged from the Bitcoin network, just as Avalanche Bridge tokens bridged from Ethereum end in “.e”
2/ With the recent #Axieinfinity and #HARMONY bridge hacks, security is on top of mind for everyone. Here's how this bridge handles possible attacks
3/ We’re seeing consistent daily usage for the bridge with July 7 and 18th being the days with the most volume — around ~350 BTC deposited.
4/ In $USD terms, that’s about ~$7M USD of peak liquidity added to Avalanche ecosystem on a single day. Otherwise, we’re seeing multiple days of more than $1M BTC liquidity being brought over.
5/ The total deposited BTC amount has reached around 2264 while 435 BTC has been withdrawn.
