Life and work
Alda Lara – Angola (1930/1962).
Angolan writer was born in Benguela, and died in Cambambe.
She is the sister of the poet Ernesto Lara Filho and married to Orlando de Albuquerque, doctor and writer, who brought together her poetic production in Poems.
Throughout his brief existence, he dedicated himself mainly to poetry, focusing mainly on the Angolan experience and referring to a reading of Angola that privileges the allegories of Freedom, Love, Justice, in a portrait of the human condition in all its ambiguity and complexity.
