I must say right away that there is no ultimatum option suitable for everyone. Over time you will understand for yourself what works for you and what doesn't.
Why set goals?
When you see a goal, it's easier for you to build a chain of actions that lead to it. It's easier to monitor progress. Gives additional motivation. It allows you to realize your successes and fully get satisfaction from what you have achieved.
I distinguish 2 types of goals: short/medium-term and long-term.
Long-term goal is the most important goal in your life. What you crave. It can be like some kind of financial situation or the idea of starting your own business and achieving certain results in this. Short-term goal. This is a goal that you can achieve in a medium/short period of time. For example, for a year or a quarter. It is necessary to strengthen what works — to strengthen the strong. You got the first result - you have data for analysis - then you strengthen, scale.
**The most important thing is that you have to believe that your goals are achievable! ** Usually the New Year is the time of summing up. What if we make 4 "years" in one? There will be 4 periods of 3 months each. This is more effective, since you will not delay the implementation of plans because the deadlines are limited.
Setting goals.
Divide your life into spheres (health, earnings, relationships, etc.). Prioritize these goals and write down what you need to achieve in 3 months. After 3 months, we summarize the results and again set goals for 3 months. As simple as that!
A couple of notes*
NOT ACHIEVING GOALS IS NORMAL! There is no person who closes 100% of goals. But it is important that the goals are not just fixed and forgotten. It is important to work to come to them. GOALS ARE NOT THE MEANING OF LIFE. GOALS ARE STEPS and LANDMARKS. No more.*
