This is the first piece in a project called “reality.zip” that I am working on. It’s a sort of old ID that I had been chipping away at occasionally, though I finally decided to finish it I honestly just loved the textures and overall weird vibe of it.
The song, as with most of my other work, is made in Ableton, with a majority of the synths made with Xfer Serum. Surprisingly, I mixed this almost entirely with stock Ableton plugins (which goes to show just how far using stock effects can take you), with exception to use of Chris Lorde-Adage’s collection from Waves Audio to clean up the drums.
As you can probably tell, there is no real cover art for this. I am currently working on a really crazy concept using 3D art and I’m debating whether or not to mint it along with an alternate version of this song, and make it either limited series or 1/1.
